about
Birthday Girl. Jay Faith.
Client: Jay Faith | Deliverables: 1 music video, 3 short form promo videos
The Client
Jay Faith is a recording artist who came to us needing more than just someone to point a camera at him. Birthday Girl needed a full production behind it, concept to screen. That's exactly what we did.
What We Were There to Capture
A music video lives or dies on the story behind it. Before we touched a camera we were scouting locations, building out the narrative, casting the right people and planning every shot. The kind of groundwork that most people don't see but everyone feels when they're watching the finished thing.
The location we ended up with was a bit mad, in the best way. It gave the video a feel you couldn't have faked on a budget twice the size, and it became one of those shoots where everything just clicked. Good energy, good people, and a concept that gave us something real to work with.
How We Work
End to end. We handled everything from the initial idea through to the final edit. Scouting, planning, actors, crew, filming, post production. The client came in with a budget and a song and left with a finished video and three pieces of short form content ready to push on socials.
The only thing we didn't touch was distribution. That part was theirs. Everything before it was ours.
Delivered
One music video and three short form promos built for social media. A full production from the ground up, delivered ready to go.
